Do I need specific wiring kit for original LED spotlights?

Can a pair of led spotlights from a GS be wired into my TC RT? Do you need the actual BMW wiring harness? Not bothered about massive integration with the bike. Just switched on the ignition would be fine.
Not sure about the connection required as a result of the harness which may be a necessity.

You could wire them onto a jumbo jet or your car, if you wanted to.

If your RT has some part of its loom, ready to take spotlights, you could maybe use that. Whether the connection sockets / plugs are identical, is anyone’s guess. Similarly, whether the length of the leads is correct, is another guess, too. I guess that your RT might (who knows?) operate - possibly as an option - any spotlights via a separate switch. Does yours have one?

Failing that, you can still wire the spotlights on but you’ll probably need to trigger the lights via a relay.

Does your RT actually need any additional lights?

Just for interest - what about the MOT?
I believed if they were classed as spot lights (or fog lights) they had to be switched appropriately?
