So, having just bought a lovely four year old RKS, I took it to Chester HD for a few minor things.

Whilst there I took a demo Roadglide for a spin and really enjoyed it.

Has anyone got one or ridden one and got any thoughts?

I loved it for the test run so having another try tomorrow

Erm yes / no / perhaps :blast

Really tempted

I looked at a RoadGlide today as was at the Dealers getting an MOT on the RKS. Much nicer in the flesh than in photos, and I would imagine they are great for long distances at higher speeds.

I really like the option to have no fairing/windshield for the summer though, so the RKS is a much better choice for me as I just take the windsplitter screen off.

I also happened across a Street Glide in full CVO trim, and that was very nice too!

That’s a very good point, I hadn’t thought about that.
Weight wise, there doesn’t seem to be much difference I don’t think

Worth it just to listen to radio 4.;)

Road Glide Special (in running order) 387 kg

Road King Special (as above) 366 kg

According to H-D website

Indian Challenger (in running order) 377 kg

I traded a RK for a Roadglide. Great bike and well comfy. Bit big for round town but have to say I loved it. Certainly grabbed people’s attention. I took mine abroad and it was faultless. 103 CI was plenty of power.

Yet the Challenger packs about 40 more bhp than the HDs, comes with a riding position not designed for an oompah loompah and has decent suspension

But………

It’s…….

Not……

A

Harley……

Would it need a Stage ! do you think
