shark lids fit question

so having been almost exclusively arai/shoei for nearly 30 years due to tefal head

was looking for another lid (bought a rapide)

but someone mentioned i should try shark

only thing i know about them is foggy used to wear them

if you fit arai without trying them on would the same be true of shark

Possible but prob not, the only person who can answer that is yourself. Some shark interiors differ from model to model. Try before you buy is the key here.

If you are told that they are, then you find that they are not and / or the Shark does not suit your head, what then?

I usually wear Shoei, they fit me perfectly.
I tried Shark but found they were tight at the forehead, even if i went up a size and then it was a loose side fit, but still pressure on the forehead.

I have a Shark and find it an extremely comfortable lid. It's funny as years ago when they first came into being and Foggy was wearing them I remember trying them on and it was really painful on the forehead as Ian relates. That's not the case now and I would say the fit is similar to an arai. They've definitely improved the fit and finish. So to echo everyone else - try one on. Visor is crystal clear too. I love mine.
