Might be handy info for anyone thinking about the same........My 2013 RT had a dealer installed Nav IV and mount with the buttons on the OEM 12mm bar above the dash. When considering how to remove this and mount and power my Zumo XT I found that the NAV IV mount fixing holes exactly match the XT's. So the bar mount part of this can be used, as can the power cable (if clipped and spliced if wanted).

Remove the screen and the facia around the dash (4 x T25), on the N4 mount remove the 4 x T25 M4 screws, you can decide whether to use the existing N4 switched live cable or run your XT cable to the battery etc.... I spliced the existing cable and used heat shrink solder connectors. The 5v stepdown adapter will slide down the hole as per picture.

It's worth removing the bar mount part, opening this and glueing in the captive M4 nuts as they easily push out of their slots when refitting.

The standoff spacers have a reduced diameter at one side which fits in a counterbore at the rear of the N4 mount, the XT mount does not have this so cut these off using a junior hacksaw and file flush + deburr the bore with a round needle file. (see pics)

Fit the XT mount using the existing m4 x 30 screws and spacers and use a couple of small cable ties through the slots below the mount on the facia to secure cable.

Larger cable ties to tidy cabling excess below headstock.

Pictures probably won't be in any order as tapatalk seems to put them in at random positions but you'll get the gist
