Brockenhurst bmw

:jes
Spoke to them today as due service next month. Workshop in place and technicians recruited, still waiting for some of BMW specialist equipment, showroom under refurbishment so moving along, be nice to see what it all looks like when done. Update on chip availability, Rainbow fish bar is virtually next door so good there, sure there must be a good coffee to be had somewhere along with the obligatory bacon style breakfast.
So my crystal ball is right all you people who did not believe me lol lol:jes:jes:jes
My next prediction will be out soon

My mum and sister live in Lymington, so I’m often down there visiting.

I always seem to get stuck at that bloody railway crossing in the middle of Brockenhurst so I hate the bloody place :D

I'll be in Ringwood over the summer, it would be rude not to pop in for a look.

if they do it properly they should have a bean to cup coffee machine using Tchibo beans and at least posh biscuits

What a seemingly bizarre location for a motorcycle emporium.
Although Brock is nearer i`ll still use Bahnstormer Alton which is where i bought my bike from.

Not far from Sammy Millers Museum

Which is totally fecking amazing and i am due a return visit very soon.
If you think the Japs came up with innovative design think again, the Brits did it all 70 years previous.
The mechanical designs of some of the stuff there is so much more wacky and interesting than any of the modern offerings.
It`s well worth a visit, in fact one visit isn`t enough you have to go back and have another look.

it's not that mad, half way between two large population centres, not much different to your beloved dealer in Alton. It's also far enough away from Alton, not to tread on their toes too much.

I'd certainly rather ride to a dealer in the New Forest than one on some sort of retail complex like they have in Bristol, Cardiff & Swansea. Ideal for test rides as you can be in open countryside in minutes, like we have in Cheltenham.

And I am always available to escort people around the best roads in the forest

A few months too late for me, as I changed back to a Ducati and Moto Corsa service dept is much closer, but I will definitely be looking in when it’s up and running.

With a blanket 40mph speed limit and the onmipresent risk of hitting a jaywalking cow/pig/horse/pony combined with myriad MAMILS and motorhomes the New Forest is actually quite a dull place to traverse on ones motorised velocipede....

A nice place for a ride.

On a bicycle.

I am aware of that but it does not take long to escape the national park into proper roads - when I take a test ride it is for half a day, not 10 minutes around the block

Just the right speed for a jaunt over on the Himalayan to the new RE dealership, assume this is part of the same?

Sounds ideal ! The Royal Enfield 120th Anniversary Ride last year started from Sammy Miller’s and wove a wonderful route through the forest and off into the wilds of Dorset.
