Fitting a new brake switch to my new right hand Throttle/front brake master cylinder assembly (from a R80 monoshock post 1984). The new switch is a sealed unit operating from the cam on the brake lever and finishing with a small black plastic 2 pin female connector, I have an old black male connector with two wires a green/black wire and a black/green wire (from Motorworks)
The wires to the brake switch (R75/6) are green/red or brown which goes to the bulb and a green/black which goes to the fuse panel in the headlamp shell.
My question is what is the right order to connect the wires? My first thought is it doesn't matter but that's just a guess!!
I hope someone can help and this makes sense.
TIA
Paul

Every switch I’ve ever fitted has two male spade connectors. The cables have female ends. Either way it’s just an on/off switch that connects the two wires together so makes no difference which way the wires go.

All sorted as stated by Scooter Paul, a nice easy fix only wished all my problems were that easy.
