Going to Dubrovnik in Croatia? Seems you won't have to use the Neum gap through Bosnia for much longer. The new bridge Pelješki Most, built by the Chinese https://goo.gl/maps/HMDSHg5WZrHGdsUz9 should open next month meaning you remain in the EU and don't have to faff with extra insurance and border delays.

Can anybody confirm if this bridge is open yet?

It is not. I was there last Wednesday. You still need to go through Neum, if you want the shortest route. If a detour fits your plans, some nice things to see in Bosnia/Herzegovina too. Quieter roads too.

We was on a boat that parked up in Dubrovnik in 2015. There was a bridge at the port just outside of the city.
Small in comparison to this new one.
I do love Dubrovnik.:beerjug:

I think we here in jolly old England now have the best border delays. I've been through that Neum border loads of times and I reckon never spent more than 5 minutes there. Neum is always a good spot to fill up.

By all means use the bridge but don't avoid Bosnia, gosh, much to see!

Nice bridge though :)
