New Forest 2022 5,6,7 Aug, The TTiTs do.

Thank you Paul for organising this again. It was great to put faces to names last year. I hope to be away with Monkeyboy somewhere East this time if Vlad allows us. If not, I’ll definitely be there (with red wine). Cheers

Yes, don't forget the Rioja!

Do we get rock bands, dancing girls, all night bar, a dodgy chuck waggon and just one stinky portaloo...

Yep, all of that. I am hoping to book AC/DC; Patsy Kensit, Rosamund Pike and Princess Anne have agreed to do the dancing - the chuck wagon's proving tricky though.

..and bring MonkeyBoy with you!

Having followed his travels on here since his first trip to Iceland, it would be good to finally meet the fecker in person and see if he is as mad as he seems! :D

(and also Rioja for me, and apple juice for young Abi please!)

I'll get Abi to bring her Spotify playlist - that should get the party going!

I did for the last event. He is... :thumby:

pay when you arrive was the advice!

They are very laid back. We have camped there as a family for the past 2 years and are back later on in August this year. If timings were different I could have turned up with my brood of 6 and you could have all shared the babysitting!

Hi all - Ok as this is getting closer it's time to start thinking about some of the opportunities available to us while we're down there.

For the younger members (and me!) the reptiliary's worth a visit as well as being FOC - https://www.thenewforest.co.uk/things-to-do/new-forest-reptile-centre-p780301

There's the massive sea water pool at Lymington http://www.lymingtonseawaterbaths.org.uk/

Some of us who were there last year enjoyed a trip to the Sammy Miller Museum, and its excellent cafe. https://sammymiller.co.uk/

Any other ideas for now? Best spot for fish and chips?

It's a nice ride to Moto Corsa in Gillingham who usually have a selection of interesting bikes + the cafe there is really good.
