Le Bas Chesnay - Domfront Normandy

I’ve just had the pleasure of staying at this delightful property for a few days.

It’s a wonderful base from which to go exploring the region, the hosts (Paul & Jean) could not be more accommodating, and the food was excellent too.

They have 2 letting rooms and a gite with 2 bedrooms too.

All beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean.

Paul has a great knowledge of the local green lanes and whilst I was there he took a selection of guests offroading albeit at the moment you need to bring your own suitable bike.

I’ve suggested to Paul that it would be marvellous if he had a couple of hire bikes for those of us who arrive on road bikes.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough, I shall be returning as soon as I get a suitable opportunity.

Thanks for making my break wonderfully relaxing and keeping me well fed and watered.
