Im after a fault code reader for the bike, possibly one that can reset too.

does the car type ones work with the GS or do you neeed a bike special version?

You need a GS911 for a 1200GS. They come up in the for sale section every now and again

Normal OBD scanners will work depending upon the make and model

I use an OBDLink LX

You’ll need the MotoScan app on android and a 10 pin adapter cable if your GS is pre euro 4

Ive been riding around with the service warning for nearly 12 months lol
Williams BMW Manchester didn't clear the screen last year!
I will remind them in 2 weeks to do it this time

Thats not the only reason i wanted a OBDII but it would have helped
