Zumo XT Installation on RT

A few pics of my XT installation.

Parts required are 4 off 18mm spacers with 4mm bore.

4 off 40mm x 4mm bolts.

1 off BMW Connector plug (if you’re not utilising the exiting one off the Nav prep.

Very simple install, you then just need a hooked plastic lever to press down the release button.

Difficult to tell from your photograph, but you may be missing the washers '2' from your install, hence the 'dishing' of the rubber inserts https://www8.garmin.com/manuals/web...UID-EBB6F274-A5FD-4380-B188-A9F4148777F3.html

Very neat install, looks factory fitted - The XT is the best Garmin unit that I have had by far.

Nearly as neat as mine &#55357;&#56836; but I left the original holder there and also left the Nav cover in place and drilled through that, so I have a blank behind the xt mount. Brilliant Nav though

The washers are there, I transferred them from the factory prep holder.

Have just noticed from your link though that I have spacer 3 in the wrong side of the mount.

I’ll change that over while I’m waiting for the wiring plug to arrive.
