Any recommendations for some small vacuum bags please.
I would be using one of these to go with the bags.

Aren't you on holiday Doc...Holiday (see what I did there,?) ?

I have some vacuum bags, that do not need a vacuum. They roll very flat, squashing the air out. You then zip them closed. I use them to keep the bedding for my motorhome dry (ie. not letting it get damp) when it’s stored away. I can’t remember the make but I’ll take a look when I remember.

From memory they came from Lakeland Plastic or from the Amazon…… or from somewhere else.

My memory is (partly) shite. I have found them….

Eagle Creek (the excellent US company) ‘Pack-it’ compression bag(s).

Can’t fault them.

Find them on the Amazon and, no doubt, elsewhere.

You can achieve the same effect by squeezing all the air out of filled dry bags and sealing them up in the normal way. I always pack my cloths like this for flight carry on luggage. It’s surprising what I can then fit in my laptop rucksack.
