I have got an I phone had it a fortnight used it hardly at all and now the thing has gone dim on me hardly see the display on charge but no difference. Any advice before it goes through the window.

Settings-display & brightness
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and you should see the shortcut menu/page.
There should a slider bar to adjust brightness.

From the home screen, swipe up and you will see the brightness 'slider' there, slide it up to brighten the screen. You have probably slid this down by mistake, I've done the same myself.

Battery is nearly flat?
Many thanks, it was so dark the screen was unreadable but put it next to another I phone got some idea of the settings icon with a magnifying glass managed to see icons and rest all now ok, many thanks.
