A solution (appreciate may be to a very small section of people) who, like me, already have the Aero cases from SW-Motech and wanted to move them over the GSA and were looking for a solution that didn't involve removing the OEM pannier frames - these are the bags and they worked great on my R1250RS
They use sw-motech frames and searching for how to attached them to the R1250GSA suggests a new frame set is needed:
Didn't really want to spend the money on these or remove OEM and noted that SW-Motech do have an adapter for the BMW frames but it's only for their hard boxes:
Says the Aero's won't fit but that didn't make sense and the dimensions all seem the same, ordered the plates anyway and discovered that to fit the aero's all you need to do is transfer over the fitting that has the little shoulder on it to get the locking mechanism to work, and the aero cases fit right on - this is the top fitting here that you need to swap over:
A bit of a niche problem but hopefully this helps someone save some cash on the adapters vs fully removable frames
