Hi there I want to fit auxiliary lights to my GS 1250 there is a spare connector just above and behind horn on left hand side of bike (looking from front) does anyone know what it is for and can I connect to it.

Connector

There is a dedicated connector already available for your spots on the inside of left of the beak. If you use the BMW spot lamp loom you can use the proper switch and it all just clips together. However you will probably need your dealer’s workshop computer to tell the bike’s ECU that it’s been fitted before it will operate.
See yellow brown red wire dead centre of shot.

:beerjug: Thanks for reply so i would need to visit dealer anyway? Bang goes the idea of getting cheap set they are only for others to see me as lights are fine as they are .

I might have what you need, unless you prefer new.
