Never been a fan of bling, I prefer bikes that have had things removed, rather than added.

Here's a great example, I really like this bike.

Scooter Paul is correct. It began life as a ST, and it’s mine.
Thanks for the appreciation. It’s no show queen, gets used often and in all weathers.

It would be interesting to put one of these next to a new fully loaded 1250 and judge just how far the GS concept has come.

What I like about the G/S is there’s everything on it you need.

Maybe the modern GS/A has everything on it you want.

fournells airshock on rear ?

Yep, I bought it in 2005 from M R Holland in Lincs, it started leaking fluid about four years ago, I sent it to fournales
and they overhauled it, it’s been fine ever since.
