baggers.

I have a k1600b and its restricted to somewhere around 115mph, the k1600 gran america with the top box is restricted to 103mph.
ive had no issues with a rack and 70L tail bag on the 1600b, what I do find is that it is a lot more stable in ESA road mode rather than Cruise mode.

BMW’s own figures for the 2022 Bagger are:

200 kph = 124 mph

180 kph = 112 mph

Give or take a nads.

They can get a tad squirrely in 'dirty air' apparently.

Just go for the GT, if top speed credentials really matter that much.

got a gt,
but just seen a nice bagger possible toying with the thought,
but that speed limit is putting me off.

bit of a difference there,
all im trying to say is i like the top end etc that comes with the 1600,comfort etc etc,
no need for a blade.
like every one else we are all different if you dont understand this why comment
we all have a choice.

Each to their own.

In the last 20 years, I can count on the fingers of one hand how many times I've exceeded 120mph - around three times, and they were only for a few seconds.

How many times would you expect to be at that sort of speed?

whats this a speed hunt ?
i like many other enjoy this when we can,
whats the problem all i am asking is the bagger slow or not ?

I had my K16GT ECU tweaked by CJS Racing and he did say there were different limiters in the ECU for each of GA, Bagger and GTL.

I think someone has already mentioned that GA carries its top box along way back and with soft suspension can get a bit loose and is restricted to around 103mph. The bagger is a little higher, around 124mph.
