Only Europe south after updates

What a load of shite Garmin have become.
Updated Nav 6 a day ago made the mistake of not checking.
Put Nav back on bike this morning and set off for a month around Europe
Noticed maps showing very little detail. Too late to be buggering about for 2 hours installing maps

Only Europe south on my device now.
How hard can it be just to get it right.

I've had some issues with Garmin recently which they eventually resolved by providing me with some further mapping software which had been updated to fix a problem. I also had to call Garmin US as Garmin UK claimed not to be able to deal with that specific aspect of my complaint.

There is a lesson in there somewhere.

Look on the bright side though, not using the device will save you swearing at it when it develops the inevitable demonic possession.

PS I vaguely recall that Nutty (I think it was) had some success updating his missing maps whilst abroad. He went to a BMW dealership who hooked him into their PC.

I had that problem last year, this is a replacement unit.
I’ve also found that all my favourites have disappeared too!
