Hi guys

I was a user of this forum in 2011 when I owned a r1200gs which I kept for 1 year and due to re-occurring issues got myself a Kawasaki GTR 1400 which I have owned ever since .
Finally sold the GTR and back on a R1250GS Adventure. Which I pick up next week.

Looking forward to it.

Quick question my new bike comes with top box , recommendations on side panniers (bmw) or Turatech ?

I had the BMW ones on mine. Spot on.

Would the dealer not give you a good deal on BMW ones seeing as you're spending a small fortune with him

Welcome back; I had the BMW metal panniers and they were fine. There are lots on the market so do a search on here to get some reviews...or google it

Cheers guys, my new GS is a 2020 model bought from a geezer this week. Never had the boxes fitted (only top box) so with your advice I have just bought the black bmw boxes arrive this week.
The 1250 is stonking compared to my old GS! Well happy with my buy
