The girl from Afghanistan. National Geographic did a follow up story on her. Bugger me if I could find the magazine right now.

Her name is Sharbat Gula. Seems she was rescued by the Italians when the Taliban took over.

I always enjoy reading about your trips. You have a way with words that makes me chuckle and I get looks from the missus.

I love those MotoZ tyres. They last forever and they’re nowhere as near as noisy as K60’s. TBH I forget they’re on there and just ride as normal. I can easily get 15k out of a pair. I rode out to Mumbai on a set and they still had loads of tread on

Fantastic report, and photos... you certainly have a wonderful way with words.
Me and Roberto rode as far as Georgia a few years back and I regretted not going further. I regret it even more now, having read your exploits
