Can any of you knowledgable guys help me?
When on the bike and I try to put an address into the BMW Nav6 or search, the screen dims and then goes bright, then dims again, a sort of pulsing.
Is the GPS on the way out? It works perfectly in all other modes when riding and when it's out of the bike I don't get this fault.
TIA lads.

Cheers Bolosun, am I blocking this sensor with my hand when inputing and if so, is there somewhere in the control to turn it off.
Thanks for your help mate :beerjug:

I've changed the settings for the display from Auto to Day. Will see how this goes. Thanks Bolosun for putting me on the right track....Hopefully :thumb2

Read this...

Top right hand corner of the sat-nav screen is a sensor for dimming the display

That's true BUT is disabled when the Nav is in the mount on the bike. It then uses the light sensor on the bike dash.
