Are your member’s looking for a destination to visit on your next ride out?

A solution! Why not visit Wiscombe Park for a day of motorsport at the South West’s premier motorsport venue? Wiscombe Park is considered to be one of the most challenging hillclimb courses in the UK, and a rider’s favourite. The 1000 yard course has a gradient of 1 in 14, and the fastest bikes will reach speeds in excess of 100mph whilst negotiating S bends and hairpins. Wherever you spectate on the hill, you will have an excellent view of the action.

The normal entry price for ticket’s purchased online in advance is £10 per person (on the gate £12) - as part of our special package, the price to your member’s is £9 each, which also includes a programme per bike, valued at £2. If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please contact us to reserve your tickets.

Wiscombe Park has a long motorsport history – the first hillclimb was held in 1958, with the first “all bike” event held in 1969. For more information, please visit our web site www.wiscombepark.co.uk

The only “all bike” event of 2022, The Arnold Gimblett Speed Hillclimb on Sunday 11th September, is one of the highlights of the National Hill Climb Association season, and will feature up to 140 bikes, sidecars and trikes in competition.

The members of the NHCA also compete at some of the other Wiscombe Park meetings, alongside the cars, throughout the season. Check our Facebook page where we announce which meetings will include NHCA two and three wheeled action.

You can view an album of photo’s from a recent NHCA meeting on Flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/riviera_guy/albums/72157719343005664 this gives an indication of the wide variety of bikes, sidecars and trikes competing at Wiscombe Park.

The itinerary for a Wiscombe Park event is as follow’s:

8.30am Gates open
9.00am Timed practice runs commence – 2 runs per rider**
12/12.30pm Lunch break
1.30/2.00pm Timed competition runs commence – 2 runs per rider **
5pm End of the meeting

Please note, these timing’s are subject to change due to incident’s on the hill affecting the running order
** Some motor clubs operate a “one practice run/three timed run” format, in which case timed competition runs commence mid-morning – check the website for details.

Access to the paddock is free all day – this gives you an opportunity to get a close look at all the bikes and chat to the riders.

We have a wide selection of food and refreshments available in the paddock including a beer tent.
