I know it is short notice, I have only just found out about it! Starts at midday, so I am going to take the CS out for a post service bimble/blast. Anyone else going to pop along?

I might pop over for a gander. Not been to one of these meets, which seem be a fairly regular event. It's not too far from me so I might cycle over - but only if this bloomin' fog lifts...

Twas Shut!
Down the High Peak Trail & along the Cromford canal to Ambergate before a steep climb up to the windmil where I arrived all hot & knackered and hoping for a cream tea or similar - only to find the gates firmly locked! There was a printed notice that they were shut out of deference. As if HMQ would have minded
No BMWs to be seen so I was forced to have a chat with a group of bikers gathered around a misbehaving old Kawasaki and then headed home.
Much harder, more uphills - a cup of tea and a marmalade sandwich before the return leg would have gone down very nicely...

I was there early, and found the same, so didn’t want to hang around.
They locked the gates and put the sign on just as I arrived. Back towards the junction was a group of 4 or 5 bikes, one was a CB175... a couple of lady riders, and a Kettle I remember. Were they the ones you saw?
