2010 FLHTCU with OEM exhaust system.
Curious to know why I only get water out from the left side. It has now corroded the internal baffle support and I can feel it moving.

Mostly on the jiffy stand in garage and when out. Open air K&N filter which I sometimes put the rain sock on if possible when parked up.
When washing I am careful not to let water get into the pipe.

Still, twice over a month water pools inside the left side only.
Rightside is a normal colour and always dry.

The obvious reason would be; what?

Blocked internal drain ?, or one pot / exhaust running significantly cooler than the other

Most bikes / cars have drain holes to allow water out -

Its a byproduct of combustion , the exhaust gases are not hot enough on startup to burn off the water vapour in the exhaust / so you get water running out of the exhaust.

in your case, looks like its collecting in the exhaust

Unless you specialise in short runs, where the cans never get up to heat, this has to be a case where somehow condensate is getting trapped internally & not burning off.

I doubt the open air filter helps, but nevertheless this shouldn't be happening.

I can only suggest replacing the slip on can, which is clearly corroding internally anyway, & hope the problem resolves itself.

Has it got the flappy paddle divert kit in one pipe ? Short runs causing it not to open, or a defect may explain one pipe only.

Whenever my Glides and / or RKs were Idling, there'd be water dripping out of that side and the other would be dry.
Not sure HD even put a Drain Hole in the OEM Mufflers so they're bound to collect the Moisture over time and Rot Out.
The good news is, there will be 1000's of the things kicking about because most people sacked them off in favour of V&H, almost from the off.

I have put an aftermarket set on albeit 'not for road use' .
They are loud. Too loud for me (reason I took them off before).
No baffles; just straight through even though using the standard downpipes.

Is there somewhere where I can get them fitted or buy myself to fit to help reduce noise levels?

I assume they would fit in at the downpipe connection end.

They are Baffles by the look of them.
What make Pipe is it, as I don't recognise the Baffles that are in there?
Can you not just pick up a pair of used OEM ones?

What make?

V&H do varying baffle kits..

Agreed…. Screaming Eagle maybe.

To be honest, those Baffles don't look as though they were ever meant to be on display.
I think they're a pair of Cut Downs of some description.
In the past, I've modified the Stock ones to give more of a rumble, but without that trademark "AK-47" V&H Crack, and it's worked quite well.
In fact, I may still have them somewhere in my HD Emporium of "That'll Come In Handy" Parts....
