Unfortunately I didn't have a choice at this time, it's green and silver. I think I'd have chosen that anyway.

What’s with the ridiculously high rear rack and top box ? The V85 was very neat and aligned with the rear seat . Somethings gone wrong with this rear rack , seriously wrong . The top box appears both too high and too far back .
I reckon the Italian designers thought any top box or carrier would ruin the bike so deliberately made fitting a rear carrier difficult. It does look shit. Hopefully the aftermarket bods will come up with a rack that fits a lot better.

I’m looking forward to seeing the V100 Stelvio/TT. Although I reckon I’ll hang onto my V85.

Now understood as a pillion head rest 
That topbox is at least 6" too high, ruins the lines
Needless to say, mine will never be having a top box on it. I'll be going back to a rucksack.
Pillion would have to do some Yoga to use that backrest!!

Here is the V85 rear rack versus the ‘Nelson’;
That tells me the seat is too short.
Rear seat is quite long actually.
Something has made them create that abomination. Maybe it's for passengers wearing backpacks?
