Picos tour 2022

By the end of my current trip I would have stayed 20 nights in Hotel del Oso over the last few years and it remains my go to base for the picos
Found Brittany Ferries Holiday package deal the best value, have 10 nights B&B in Hotel Del Oso including ferry plus dinner on ferry on way back £1100

Can’t remember if they cater well for veggies. Can you ask them ? Ta .

I love good food and (big ) dogs.

Eat the first and tickle / cuddle the second!

I can’t do July.
August is a bit hot and too busy.
Can’t do September so looks like June, possibly 18th from Plymouth.
Sorry to hijack your thread, Mark.

Thanks Mark.

That’s EV sorted then :-

I’ll be thinner than a sprig of spring grass by the time I get back home.

Anemic slimy Asparagus out the jar and mayonnaise.

Now a Delicate green asparagus, Sautéed in a bit of butter, seasoned with a bit of coarse sea salt and a squish of lemon, I can have five servings of that, and still be asking for more.

First full day here planned a quiet one, down to Potes for a wander and visit my favorite bar for lunch, just about the strongest stinkiest cheese ever!
Back to hotel and car park full of British bikes
Mia's grown

Perhaps Mark should order it one night, for research purposes !! :)
The food is certainly good at the Del Oso so I reckon it would be good.

Great day today, joined Moto Piston ride out as event photographer and had a fantastic 100 mile run through some amazing roads following the smell of Castrol R these guys can really throw the old bikes about, shot about 300 pics and then joined them for a 3 course lunch and wine
Got back to hotel just now and someone had left an old banger in my spot.

Tip of the Day, Hotel del Oso don't supply tea or coffee making facilities in the room (thought they used to but maybe mistaken) anyway, rooms have a fridge and if asked the hotel will happily supply a kettle, they also are happy to supply fresh milk and peanut type snacks, all gratis (well for me anyway)
