A weekend in the Welsh Marches

On the way through Wales finishing at the oldest pub where we stopped for a coffee as Bev wanted to observe the two minutes silence to mark the queen's funeral

That phone box described as the most remote in the UK. Take the right fork on an Oilhead and there may be trouble ahead, byeway to Strata Florida ...

Great roads, will be up that way on the weekend. Good to see some of the old UKGSer faces, looking somewhat older!
 
Some of lovely Weston a short stay on way to some friends including a toasty walk on Brean Down - very interesting place and you feel you're in middle of Bristol channel

The murals in Weston are worthy of a day in themselves, stunning and this just a few of the best - check the scale with Bev. She's small...but not THAT small :augie

Views from Bleadon Hill on way off. Stunning. Popped to Glastonbury...very odd. smelt of joss sticks everywhere, lots of crusties and the odd wizard :D

1001 miles - obscure :rolleyes: and no rain, lucky as did rain at our friends and pissed down few hours after getting home.
