my favourite looking/colour scheme GS/A is the 2017/18 1200 GSA rallye , blue & white
load up your photos if you have one i never get tired of drooling over them,,, :thumb

as a side note, is there anything in particular to be aware of on this model year ? did i hear right that there was a batch that came with sub standard ecu,s or did i dream that :confused:

thanks in advance :beerjug::beerjug:

Not a dream , mine lasted 13,500 miles and was replaced in Austria and the dealer was aware of the problem and had change more than one , if you are thinking of buying a late 2017 early 2018 lift the seat and look at the ECU, if it is clearly marked as being a BOSCH unit it will be fine.
The non branded ones were the ones with issues.

thanks neil :beerjug:
anything else i should be aware of ?

Not really by that age most of the issues with clunky gearboxes ,failing switchgear and poor engine paint of earlier production bikes had been sorted, only other issue is check spoke tension , most will have been sorted during service by being retensioned or replacement

Driveshaft drain bung campaign too, should have a wee rubber tit underneath the rear of the driveshaft tunnel just in front of the FD knuckle if it has been done.

Here is my 2018 GSA.
Bike been fine except the throttle assembly packed in. Was repaired promptly under warranty.

I've got a 2021 Rallye, but wanted the colour scheme of my previous 2017 model. I had a pro-paint job done with new decals, and changed the side panels from silver to black. Unfortunately I couldn't bite the financial bullet of getting the frame done. So, in short, I've spent a fortune on a paint job and most likely de-valued the bike at the same time :D - but I like it.

Pictures taken inside garage which don't really do the paint job justice

hi Mike, my favourite colour scheme too,, had they done the 1250gsa the same i would have 100% have gone with that, ended up with a 40th year anniversary, black/yellow
also another pic spot that i have lots of pics of various bikes :beerjug:

Here's mine, bought it off a mate a couple of weeks ago, the pic is from a Scotland trip earlier in the year, the S10 is/was my bike. I've properly fallen for the GSA so the S10 has to go.

The S10 is an awesome bike, dependable and it feels a bit more planted than the GSA but when you open the throttle there's no comparison, I just need to learn how to ride it now.

A blatant thread hijack to say that my favourite GS/GSA colour scheme is this & not sure when it came out as mine's Sept 20:
