Couple of short clips about the Flying Flea, official name was The Airborne. Used on D-Day, dropped by parachute and also on Gliders and landing craft. Lightweight 125cc 2 stroke.

RE had a large number of factories working for the war effort, one of these was in Edinburgh which made the frames for the Flea.

Good one Jazbee :thumb

I think the first motorcycle I ever rode was an old Royal Enfield two stroke, on the fields, in the early fifties :thumb2

The three Micks (Robbo, Chick and Wheeler) clubbed together and bought the old thing. We learnt much, two strokes, petroil, wet plugs ... we cut out teeth on an old Royal Enfield two stroke field bike :thumb2

I think the RE Himmy will see me out :rob:D
