To avoid any clash with the camping meet the previous weekend I propose breakfast on the 12th November.

Following high praise recommendation from Mick and Andy I paid a visit today to the Welcome Cafe at Hollands Nurseries, Twyford LE14 2HZ
This cafe is a few miles back towards Melton Mowbray on the same road (B6047) as the Alpaca Farm we visit and just after the turn off to Leicester via Queniborough.
Beware as travelling from Queniborough my sat-nav told me to turn right instead of left at the junction taking me on to the next farm so look out for the bright blue cafe signs approaching the entrance.
The new owner took over about six months ago and has expanded the business with a deli and shop. She also bakes the delicious cakes.
I arrived too late to sample the breakfast that is served from 9 to 12. However, the sampled food was great and good value in price.

For information, this venue will be used by the classic vehicle group that used to meet at Ashby Folville.
After a successful trial their first meet will start on Sunday 16th October.
