Not my report, but a film by Dominique Peltier and 3 friends riding from the south of France to tour the Scottish Highlands in May on 2 airheads, a Himalayan and a 1200 GSA. Beautifully filmed and worth a watch, particularly on how to enjoy a trip despite the weather.

Dominic Peltier has made some great videos of rides in the south of France (he lives in Nice)

Excellent wee vid. Thanks for posting. I now know the French for and am forewarned if ever a flic stops me and mentions "rectal examination". :D

love how its intercut to different times :D

also the first 30 secs lmao - absolutely that :D

I have long been a fan -

Interesting they took ferry from Cherbourg to Dublin , drove to Belfast and ferry to Scotland.

A wonderful film but surprisingly tiny viewing figures (on Youtube at least)
Most of his videos are sub 10k and you often see some dismally boring review videos getting 100k
Hopefully he does it for himself and his friends
