nav v1 battery wanted

is it possible to buy one,my nav1 is unresponsive either wonder wheel or finger,i am going to try a battery first ,as this issue has only come about since bike has been stood .
can someone point me in the right direction to buy one

I guess you mean Nav VI (6) not Nav 1 (1)


Does the unit power on / hold charge off the bike ?

if yes, then it's not the battery

if no, then it's either the battery or, possibly the unit has died.

you could then contact Garmin / BMW for a warranty replacement.

A new battery is in the region of £40-£60

Re the wonderwheel / unresponsive.

rub your thumb over the contact pins , they should all move back into the housing and spring back out ??

are they all straight??

if the answer to the abouve is yes, and the unit holds charge,

plug it back into the holder and give it a little (and i mean little) twist in clockwise motion just to make sure it's settled on the pins.

Also make sure the connection pad on the back of the unit is not tarnished, gummed up.

a wipe with some iso-alcohol can help (one or two drops on a cloth)
