Gerbing power connector

Could I run a small air compressor from the Gerbing connector for my heated jacket?

I think I'd need a 2.5mm dc male plug to go on the compressor, the lead is directly on the battery.

Thoughts?

No reason why not - just check the fuse size. Alternatively, you could change the Gerbing lead for an SAE lead to give you more options (e.g. battery charger) and just get an SAE to 2.5 adapter for the jacket.

If it is connected direct to the battery, you can run whatever you want as long as the correct fuse is in the holder.

And the wires and connectors are man enough for the job too.

Think you would be ok, the wires and connector are man enough for all the heated gear, which if you have everything is far more than a compressor. When you get Gerbing connectors they come will all the fuses so you can choose how much current you need.
