Hello - I returned to motorcycles last year and intend to move up to a GS so this seems to be the place to be!

I’ve read a great deal and am looking out for a 98/99 1100 or an 01/02 1150.

Im looking forward to learning more.

I’ve lusted after a GS for years. Between 1995-2009 I was whizzing around on all sort of bikes H100, CG125, CB250RS, MZs (several - don’t ask!), Fazer, SV650 and several GSXRs (loved the 750) but I’ve always liked the GS. Unfortunately, a crash put me off bikes for 12-years or so but I’ve been back in the saddle a year now (on an Himalayan of all things) and I’m ready to buy THE bike.

Like a few I guess my taste in technology peaked circa 2000.
