On my way to Italy. Now a well trodden route for me, so yesterday I decided to squeeze a little more out of the tank so the next fill up was a max fill. Well that was the plan
I was on a big empty road (A62) going through the south Ardennes (I don't go through France, too boring), somehow I missed my turn off, at which point I had 10 miles showing as the range . Managed to turn off later and head back, but the hills are long and big...
In short, I rolled into the tankstelle with 4 miles left - yes, only according to dash. Next nearest chance was probably 5 miles away
What are other people's experience with accuracy of the fuel computer?
**Bike is a 2011 TC btw. At this fill up the trip meter was showing 352 miles for that last tank fill - which was from my home in N London - bike is fully loaded, with crap!
