If you haven't bought it yet, don't be tempted by the Split - it's a nightmare to fit.
I returned mine and fitted the one piece unit via the NN bracket - easy
If you have a lowered GS, you have to use the split, and its easy to fit
Yes you can use the standard wiring and then purchase an adapter harness for the Soundbomb, fixing in the same location as OEM too.

I was considering a Denali Soundbomb until I read this thread and am considering using a BMW car horn.

To have full effect of BMW car horn, you need BMW 5 series car double horn, low and high tone. I installed that kit on my GS, purchased on eBay from car breakers. But, you can´t simply connect both horns to the existing loom because CanBus would feel too much voltage drain and shut the horn down until you restart the bike. That is what happened to me. So, I connected one horn to the existing loom (the connector is the same) and the other horn to EzCan. Now everything works fine and the horn is a monster. Love it...
