Weirdly the seal looks perfect.
But it’s spuffed a third of the oil into the clutch.
Let’s hope it’s magically disappeared and not got into the clutch plates.

New parts in today
New seal from Lukas - Cheers!
Cleaned out the thrust bearing and re-greased
New seal on
New felt slider job - think the last one caught most of the oil fingers crossed.
Just need to bolt it back together and have a quick test ride.
Let’s walk the dog first though

While I’m at it lets change the oil in the gearbox and FD - this one has had full BMW S/H so its all going to be lovely inside eh?
G box is ok.
FD - er this ain’t coming out
Well with some blow torch and special service tool No 1, we got there eventually.
FD oil is shitty black and stinking, and clearly never been replaced since 2013. Hey ho, it’s nice and clean now.

Well done mate. Keep it changed every 3000 miles and you’ll be good to go
