Evening folks,

Name is Paul but most people call me Cat (from my Army days).

Just part ex'd in my V-Strom and picked up this beautiful machine, it does have a full set of panniers as well. (Dealer was Bahnstormer in Alton)

I have to say its the first bike I have ever ridden that actually feels different from all the rest and being a big lad I finally feel like I have a bike that fits me straight out the box, so to speak.

I look forward to checking through posts and learning a thing or two.

See you around

Looks a cracker you’ve bought , I had the older V Strom and hated it felt cheap and nasty but probably totally different to the one you owned.

I have to say I never had a problem with it and it carried me around Europe on a few occasions but despite being only 6ft 2 (but 20 stone) for it to be comfy I had to change loads of things. Plus it didn't have all the fancy gadgets bikes get today.

But the BMW as soon as I rode it I knew I should have gone for one years ago.....what a difference.

Cracking bike Sir, health to enjoy.
