Quite a nice jaunt, suggested in Tourenfahrer magazine’s December 2022 edition.

I will have a look at that cheers.
Not far from Wangerland.

If your traveling up from south of the Elbe, and want to use the ferry at Eischafen, and you're on the bike, you can bypass the usually long queue of cars, and go to the front. They put bikes on first or last to fill the small spaces.
Well that's what they were doing back in 2010. I stopped at the back of the queue and a guy came and told me to go to the front, and sure enough, straight on:okay.

Be even better in about 2029 when the undersea pre-fab tunnel connecting Germany to Denmark is competed via the Fehmarnbelt Gap. Be able to visit Denmark and thus most of Scandinavia, by road.

Rostock is well worth a visit.

Was in it for a day a few years ago. During WW2, British bombers "accidentally" overshot their aircarft factory target and started the world's first firestorm in the small town.
The citizens realised the town was lost, but went to the church and doused the medieval structure in water all night to save it.
After the war, when the DDR came into being, one would imagine that the town would have been rebuilt in the best Stalinist style of concrete architecture.
But no!
People with taste and an eye for beauty were let loose, and the place is beautiful beyond words.
