As the 701 is quite high I thought about lowering it using the KoubaLink. I believe it's best not to go any lower than 1.25"

Fitted one to my 350 Husky, all good with no problems
You may have to file down around the swing arm...I looked into one for my 690....decided to fit a spacer on the rear shock, lowering it that way. I also upgraded the spring to 85Nm up from 70Nm ish standard...I'm 95kg plus kit...
Also had the front forks revalved and lowered through triple clamps 10 mm, to balance out the bike

Advantage is that it has 2 sets of inserts which can be reversed to give 4 different seat hts 10, 20 or 30mm lower plus standard ht.
Worked fine so far.
