Hi all,
In January I am planning to ferry to Caen, amble down the west coast hugging the coastline and staying low. Eventually cross to Montpellier and get the Sete ferry to Nador. Go and see a bunch of nice places for a month or so (staying low), then ferry to Algeciras and head back up through Spain and ferry back to UK depending on where I end up. So - what can possibly go wrong?
Seriously - I would appreciate any advice.

Snow over the Atlas between Guercif and Er Rachidia.

Weather PtII. Morocco can be bloody cold in January until you get South of the Atlas Mountains; even then I wouldn't call it warm.

...ok, I get it, I need to take a bobble hat and mittens - what else..

Heated grips, heated seat, heated jacket, heated gloves.
Spare cables for above.
Pocket warmer.
Flask.
Snow plough for your trusty stead.
A bag of grit/salt.
ACF50.

I have the heated grips - love 'em..
- never used my heated seat..
Ridden 250 miles in - 2 deg with just my winter gear, all good.
Flask - check,
I think NippyNormans do a snow blower but I'll probably just go a different way...
I'll keep the salt for my chips..
ACF50 - check,
