Since the latest IOS 16 upgrade, i find the display freezes on google maps using Apple carplay. This only happens when it's actually navigating to a destination and can be unfrozen by clicking the app button and selecting carplay but after about a minute it freezes again. If no destination is set then the map stays live.
I've tried disconnecting the car from carplay & reconnecting and deleting Google maps and reinstalling but it still freezes. Ive also tried a brand new Apple lead. This seems to be affecting quite a few folk but no solutions to be found on the Internet so far.
Any ideas
