Just bought a pair of the Merlin Drax ii boots with DC30 protection - ride out on the Harley today and i have to say they are superb. Look great, leather is nice and thick, soles are nice and stiff but not to stiff to walk in, highly recommended if your after new footwear i wouldn't hesitate to recommend these, sizing is generous - (i had to buy a size up in my Sidi Adventure boots) but these are spot on even with wide feet, and as a plus they are British company.
(I have the Merlin Mahala trousers for commuting and there are superb too)
