BMW trousers Rally Pro 2 with leather knee grips advice please

I have a pair of Rally Pro trousers with leather patches on the inside of the knees and having got these very wet the leather has dried and taken the shape and texture around the edges of a crisp dry Holly Leaf
can you help with what is the best product to restore this please I have given it a go with Nikwax glove proof in the hope it will return to its flat and supple state

Neats foot oil... Available in most supermarkets, good stuff.

Try "Renapur" leather balsam.
Does what it says on the tin, cleans, nourishes and protects leather.
