Fitting Hyperpro spring to rear shock R1150GS

Hi all
I am trying to fit a Hyperpro spring to a rear shock for my R1150GS. I compressed the spring but the shock does not seem to have a typical collar to release the spring. Can anyone help please?

Just done the same for my 800. Once the spring was compressed you can move the bottom mount enough to reveal a thin circlip - May be similar

Thanks. Once the spring was off I found broken buffer rubber!! Thanks to great support from Denz0 it is off to him for repair now!
