Daytona Traveller GTX

Odd request...

If anyone has a pair of Daytona Traveller GTX boots could you do me a favour...Inside the boot at the top of the Tongue is a number on a label. On mine the number is 43 0976 01.....I have the boots 10 years and can't remember what size they were, I think they are a EU45 but the number 43 at the Beginning of this longer number is making me doubt myself.

The two numbers at the front are the size. Your boots are size 43. My boots start with 42, I have small feet.

Some Daytona boots come in various widths. It is possible that your boots in size 43 (when you’d normally take a 45) were chosen only because they might have been in a wider fitting, perhaps?

Have you tried taking the insole out and looking at the underneath of the insole. Quite often footwear has the size on the insole

Just checked my Travel Star GTX boots, they are a couple of months old. The first two numbers on the tongue tag are 44 (023), which are correct. I take a 10 in Altberg boots but a 44 in Daytonas.
