how far is "around" - Kempten is lovely and we liked Hotel Peterhof with underground parking

assume Seefeld in the Austrian Tirol, not Germany? 200-250 miles depending on route.

either Kempten or Ravensburg would do, as both will keep you away from the horrible B31 along Lake Constance. Presumably you have places you want to visit as the total distance is relatively easy in one day if desired.
