[FONT=&quot]We've all got used to riding our own bikes into the EU.

Here's some advice re. bunging a bike in a van https://www.uknmc.org/news/motorcycle-transportation-and-the-eu-border-nmc-publishes-advice - the organisation's members includes the TRF, ACU, IAM, BMF et al

Includes advice for off road & track bikes and where a mate drives and you travel later.

Perhaps this thread could be made a sticky so that updates can be added if rules change.

Thank you, Wessie.

The closing paragraph sounds a small bell of caution, which bods might miss if they only read the bits they fancy.

Although the NMC general advice brings together a range of information and links which have been developed in partnership with the UK Government, it does not carry the status of official Government guidance.

It is important to note that the situation on the border is subject to change.

It also remains the responsibility of all travellers/tourists to read and understand the most up to date guidance available on gov.uk, ec.europa.eu and also guidance from ferry operators.

Though I doubt if the chimp in the ferry operator’s call centre will know too much about bikers’ rights when it comes to van movements. They will though be great experts on nail polishing and hair extensions in Dover.
