adding music

I know there's a thread somewhere but just can't find. Can someone help as to how to get music on the Nav VI SD card to play on this heap of shite.

I've added music to the Nav VI Memory Card > Garmin > MP3 folder, there's hundreds of songs in there.

I connect My helmet as I've always done yet the MP3 player says no music can be found. very ocassionally I can change to iPhone then back again and the music willl play, next time I get on the bike, bugger all. Says nom songs were found To play songs copy music to the MP3 folder
I never had this problem with the Nav V
