My wifes ebike has some corrosion on the terminals between battery and control box do dah underneath it
I have cleaned them back up and was going to slap some Vaseline on them.
Then I found this stuff in me box of stuff
Question is ---- Is it going to insulate the power or let it be conducted and keep um corrosion free maybe ??
Better or not than Vaseline???

Thanks if yer know owt :thumby:

Hi there!
Silicone grease is a better option than Vaseline for preventing corrosion on electrical connections because it is more resistant to heat, water, and chemicals. Silicone grease is also less likely to attract dirt and other contaminants, which can cause further corrosion.
Silicone grease has a high dielectric strength, which means that it can provide good insulation between the electrical connections. This makes it a good option for use on battery terminals and other electrical connections.
